Monday-Thursday 8a-4:30p Fridays 8a-12p
Pay Range-$24-$27 an hour
Austin Sign Co is looking for an experienced Graphic Designer with 3+ years experience in the large format print industry, specifically with vehicle wrap design, to join our team.
All applicants must have a portfolio and a minimum of 3 years experience in the large format print industry.
Responsibilities:
Review and assign job orders in CRM ShopVox to designer
- Answering questions, brainstorming and problem solving with customers
- Email customers within 24 hours of receiving the order introducing themselves
- Read and review customer order details, performing any retouch or manipulation of images that align with print and cut file production requirements
- Submit proof to customers within 24-48 hours after assigning job to self
- Communicate with sales team if there is any missing information pertaining to the job order such as quantity, size, materials, and document attachments
- Ensure all proofs contain mock-ups so customers can visualize final print product, this includes photos and visuals pertaining to jobs which require an onsite installation
- Perform retouching and manipulation of images to align with production requirements
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule
Qualifications
Minimum of three years of work experience in large format print industry as a graphic designer REQUIRED
- Vehicle Wrap Design Experience REQUIRED
- Advanced interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web
- Experience working with Adobe Illustrator and other graphic design software in the Mac OS compatible environment
- Expert problem solving
